Obiettivi
Il progetto si sofferma sul valore veicolare della tessitura che unisce le due culture, valorizzando il patrimonio artistico e culturale di entrambe le nazioni e promuovendo il dialogo tra le stesse, riproponendo anche nel territorio sardo i risultati raggiunti dalla precedente edizione del progetto DIART.
Attività
Concorso di design “Disegna la Tradizione”, rivolto alle nuove generazioni, finalizzato a stimolare la creatività e promuovere l’interesse per la tradizione tessile attraverso la sua riscoperta in chiave moderna con strumenti tecnologici e digitali
Realizzazione del Tappeto sardo-tunisino. Le artigiane finaliste della precedente edizione del Festival tenutasi in Tunisia nel 2013 realizzano due tappeti basandosi su disegni elaborati dal Centre Technique de Création d’Innovation et d’Encadrementdu tapis et du Tissage di Tunisi.
Festival della tessitura sardo-tunisina (Urzulei, 18 marzo 2015), comprendente un convegno sui temi: “Il Distretto culturale del tappeto mediterraneo” e la “La tessitura Mediterranea: evoluzioni e sviluppi del settore artigiano”; la presentazione nel territorio regionale del tappeto sardo-tunisino, mix di motivi e tecniche delle due culture; l’inaugurazione della mostra di tappeti con opere originali dalla Tunisia, e dei laboratori pratici di tessitura.

Artigiane tessili sarde e tunisine, grafici, designer, architetti, giovani laureati/diplomati presso scuole di belle arti, grafica, design ed istituti.

AIMS
The project wants to enhance the art of weaving uniting the two cultures, enhancing also the artistic and cultural heritage of all nations and promoting dialogue, proposing again in the Sardinian territory the achievements of the previous edition of the DIART project.
ACTIVITIES
Design competition "Draw the Tradition", aimed at new generations, disegned at stimulating creativity and promoting the interest in the textile tradition through its rediscovery in a modern key with technological and digital tools.
Realization of the Sardinian-Tunisian Carpet. The artisans finalists of the previous edition of the Festival held in Tunisia in 2013 made two carpets based on drawings elaborated from Centre Technique de Création d’Innovation et d’Encadrementdu tapis et du Tissage di Tunisi. in Tunis.
Festival of Sardinian-Tunisian weaving (Urzulei, 18 March 2015), including a conference on the themes: "The cultural district of the Mediterranean carpet" and "The Mediterranean weaving: evolutions and developments in the artisan sector"; the presentation in the regional territory of the Sardinian-Tunisian carpet, a mix of motifs and techniques of the two cultures; the inauguration of the exhibition of carpets with original works from Tunisia, and practical weaving workshops.

Sardinian and Tunisian textile artisans, graphic designers, architects, young graduates / graduates from schools of fine arts, graphics, design and institutions.
